Romania : Cisnadioara

Cisnadioara is a small village in Romania, situated near to Cisnadie city in the county of  Sibiu.

It's a very beautiful, natural area where I found peace and cosiness.

There are sheep on the meadow and the shepherd is only 14 years old! He appeared to me a bit  shy and  self- contained.   However, his grand father  is very kind and sociable and allowed me to take some pictures around on his sheep.

In Cisnadioara there are many villas and pensions  where you can rest during holidays.  All around is full of hills and forests, very calm, healthy environment.  Each year, the village Hall  and other entities are  organizing cultural events (as painting and photography exhibitions, concerts, charity events, music competitions).

The village has the oldest pipe organ in Romania , dated from the beginning of the  XVII century. A roman basilica from XII century can be visited too. This little church, situated on a hill developed the small village afterwards.

In Cisnadioara I found a la…

During the Cannes Film Festival at Bucharest, Bertrand held a master class for the students who study film direction and cinematography. He admitted that in his films, he likes to present a lot of characters and each of them to be able to express different feelings and experiences. He also dislikes to have a fixed plot and enjoys building up the character according to its evolution in film…

Caricaturistes - fantassins de la democratie documentary and White God film

There are films to raise awareness in world, films that want to give a message of changing mentalities, films that are produced with the hope of getting a little change in the society.  Today I would like to talk about two of them that I had the opportunity to see during the Cannes Film Festival at Bucharest.

1.'Caricaturistes - fantassins de la democratie' is a long length documentary  film about political  cartoonists who fight for democracy in the World. Most of them face with social atrocities, poverty, imprisonment, unemployment, threats and fear only because they show the political issues through the  cartoons they draw  and publish them in newspapers or on the internet. Persecution on cartoonists is still  happening in Russia, Venezuela, Tunis,  Mexico, Alger, Israel and in many more countries. Most of them spent time in jail or lost their job because of the cartoons they published. Some of them moved out of the country, requesting  political asylum in other regions. In…
